Torii

The design for the table inspired by the Japanese Torii. A Torii is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the profane to the sacred.

The construction adds strong a strong expression to the table and makes it very stable without compromising on usability.
